What equipment is provided and what should participants bring?
+
All professional digital audio workstations (DAWs), DJ controllers, mixing hardware, and active studio monitors are provided on-site courtesy of HEDD Audio and DP Project. Participants may bring their own personal headphones or USB flash drives if they wish to save their stems and audio samples, though this is completely optional.
Is prior music production or DJing experience required?
+
No previous experience is needed. The masterclass is tailored specifically for youth ages 11–18, introducing foundational beat-making and live mixing up to intermediate track arrangement, guided directly by seasoned industry mentors.
Can parents or guardians attend and observe?
+
Yes. The venue at 108–110 Coombe Lane includes a dedicated hospitality reception and waiting lounge where parents and guardians are welcome to relax, observe the workshop, or speak with our directors during the 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM session.
What is the registration fee for participants?
+
The workshop is fully funded and sponsored by our non-profit community partners, including the Korean Community Centre and DP Project. Placement is 100% free for all registered youth participants ages 11–18. Space is strictly capped to ensure 1-on-1 mentorship.
Will participants take home project files or certificates?
+
Every participant will receive their exported audio mix files and project stems, alongside an official certificate of completion recognized by DP Project and the Korean Community Centre.
